So, aside from all the food, the family time, and the endless holiday DIY craft options, there are during the holidays there is also the joy of picking out your holiday outfits.
Of course, on Thanksgiving, I always whip out my fat pants and a t-shirt because let’s be real, we all eat way too much. And, I don’t know about you but I need all that extra room – I can’t be growing my food baby in a tight mini skirt…
Are you with me?
But, when it comes time for various other holiday family get-togethers and Christmas, I love to accessorize and whip out the holiday outfits I have been saving all year long. Because, let’s be real again, I really only look that good for a date night and for seeing the family because I like everyone to think I have it together.
I feel like surely somebody reading this can relate to that…
So, if you are like me and are about to start pulling out all your favorite holiday outfits, here are a few tips on how to accessorize:
- Add sparkles This should be the No. 1 fashion tip for just about everything – sparkles, sparkles, sparkles.I am personally obsessed with glitter skirts, but if you don’t like your clothing to be that loud then try accessorizing with glitter shoes.
- Bracelets, on bracelets, on bracelets Layered bracelets are all the rage. My favorite combination is to add a nice watch with bracelets surrounding it.Try adding a watch, a glittery bracelet, and a few neutral ones.
- Be bold with lipstick This is a bit of a different type of accessory, but I know there are plenty of days where I just don’t feel like being weighed down with the jewelry all day long. So, on those days, I add a bold lipstick and call it quits.
Okay, now it’s your turn – what is your favorite way to accessorize your holiday outfits?
